More About ‘Oscar Meets His Worry Chimp’

Good morning all!

As you may remember from our last post, ‘Oscar Meets His Worry Chimp’, our children’s book aimed at helping kids understand and beat worry is out now!

In light of this, I thought I take some time to share why we wrote the book, what it’s about and how it can help…

The book was the brain-child of Jo Richings, co-founder of HappiMe. She has since created the HappiMe app and various incredible programmes to help improve self-esteem, self-confidence and mental health in young people and adults across the UK! Jo’s goal and vision was to do this by creating accessible resources and coaching programmes for children around the world to learn and implement in their own lives, leading to wide-spread happiness across the globe… Not only that, she believed that if we taught children tools and strategies to help them become more emotionally intelligent and resilient, we will create young adults that can do the same… Hopefully leading to a drastic decline in heart-break and poor mental health across adults in years to come.

Jo’s passion created ‘Oscar Meets His Worry Chimp’, co-written by daughter Abby, the lead Children & Young People coach with HappiMe… Who also shares the same vision as her mum.

The book teaches children how the brain works and how to feel better in a fun and engaging way, through the endearing characters of Oscar, his HappiTar and the young boy’s cheeky chimp.

As always, thanks for being so supportive.

Stay awesome!

Love,

The HappiMe Team x
